Come join Libby (the library cat mascot) and the rest of the children for some stories, songs, crafts, and snacks.

The Write Your Own Book Competition is still going on. You have until February 17th to get your entries in. I have heard some parents and kids talking about it and from what they are saying we will have some good books to read and judge for this year. I can't wait to see your entries. If you have any questions or need a copy of the rules you can call the library and ask about it. A copy of the rules is also located in the December archives as well as on the Kids page on our website for the library.

I have placed a book order and we should have some nice books coming in anytime now so make sure you stop by the library and take some out. You can even leave a comment with a review of a book you read whether it is a new one or an old favorite of yours and we will make sure it gets published up here.

We are in the process of making a name quilt on our bulletin board in the Youth Services area so stop by and put your name on a square and come back and see how the quilt has grown.
